The problems we hear most from cafés, restaurants and venues
- A café relying on passing trade misses customers searching "near me" on Google.
- Phone bookings taken during a busy service get missed, leaving a table empty later.
- A seasonal menu or availability calendar that's out of date catches guests out, and the business out of pocket.
What we typically set up for hospitality
- A website with an up-to-date menu, opening hours and photos that actually look like your food, drink or rooms.
- Google Business Profile and local SEO, so you show up on Maps when someone nearby searches for the kind of place you are.
- Online bookings and reminders, so tables, rooms or event enquiries can be booked without tying up the phone during service.
- Review request automation, so a good evening turns into a Google review a day or two later, rather than being forgotten by the next morning.
We work with booking and ordering platforms you may already use, such as OpenTable or ResDiary, and build around them rather than replacing a system your team already knows.
A typical setup
Here's a hypothetical walkthrough for a small restaurant: a customer searches for a table nearby on a Saturday evening, finds the restaurant's Google Business Profile with current hours and photos, and books directly through an online booking widget rather than phoning during the dinner rush.
A confirmation email goes out straight away, with a reminder the day before so the table isn't lost to a forgotten booking. If something changes, the restaurant can message the customer directly rather than relying on a missed call going both ways. After the meal, a short, well-timed message asks whether they'd leave a Google review, which feeds back into the same profile that brought the next customer through the door. None of this needs anyone free during service. It runs on its own, in the background.
Tools we often work with in this sector
We're happy to work with OpenTable, ResDiary, Square and similar booking and payment tools, connecting your website and Google Business Profile into whatever you already use for reservations. If you're running bookings purely by phone and a paper diary, we'll suggest something sized to your venue rather than a system built for a chain.
